News: SnK x Ehime Prefecture Special Event
Japan’s Ehime Prefecture has announced a special SnK event, featuring a mystery storyline and a digital stamp rally for prizes!
The main visual of Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Levi in suits are the same character designs/poses as the billboards that promoted Season 3 Part 1 prior to its broadcast.
More details such as event dates will be announced in the near future.

News: Bessatsu Shonen May 2019 Issue & Tankobon 28 Alternative Cover

The cover of Bessatsu Shonen’s May 2019 issue, featuring Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Connie, and Sasha in a card game, has been revealed! This issue will contain SnK Chapter 116. A special clear slipcover for tankobon vol. 28, which is being released on the same day, will also be included with the same visual. The first can badges and the can badge collector’s case for Bessatsu Shonen’s upcoming anniversary will also serve as supplement!
Bessatsu Shonen’s previous SnK cover was the January 2019 issue.

Trying a different art style.
The story behind this is that someone is walking through a long tunnel and sees a silhouette of a spooky looking man (aka black hat) standing at the end of the tunnel. Their automatic reaction to this is to… pull out their phone and take a picture with the aim of posting it online. Black hat notices this. He doesn’t want his picture taken at that moment, so he gets really mad. From the point of view of the person who took the picture, BH seems to disappear, but in reality he teleported behind them. He reaches over their shoulder and destroys the phone.
Also I know that he wears gloves, but I wanted to draw him without them and I gave him pointy black nails because I thought it looked cool.
